Education

We collaborate with educational institutions to integrate and infuse nature into academic curricula and each child's learning experience.
Our school programs are centred around nature and aim to be focused, immersive, hands-on experiences tailored to each school's goals and the needs of their learners.
Here are some of our current long-term partnerships:
Gubbachi Learning Community and ‘Nature and Me’

Gubbachi Learning Community in Bangalore focuses on providing educational opportunities to marginalised children, especially those from migrant families.
The 2025-2026 school year will mark the third year of our 'Nature and Me' program at Gubbachi. This program aims to support the 'EVS' curriculum for children between the ages of 8-14 through both indoor and outdoor learning experiences centred around nature.
By encouraging exploration, discovery, documentation and expression, we help children connect with their immediate surroundings, academic subjects, and themselves.
Parikrma Humanity Foundation and ‘Discovering Nature’

Parikrma Humanity Foundation in Bangalore dedicates itself to offering free education and extensive community support to numerous children and families from underserved communities.
As we approach the 2025-2026 academic year, we're excited to celebrate our fourth year of partnership with them. Our collaboration began with a program called 'After School In Nature'.
Today, our evolved program—named 'Discovering Nature' by the students themselves—focuses on middle and high school students and aims to diminish the traditional academic boundaries between scientific disciplines through immersive experiences in nature, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, exploration, and inquiry.
Skylight Annaswamy Academy and ‘Learning with Nature’

Skylight Annaswamy Academy was started in 2017 to provide an English language education on par with the best schools to under-served children coming from areas around Fraser Town, Cox Town and Tannary Road, and is affiliated with the Karnataka Education Board.
We have begun our collaboration with Skylight Annaswamy Academy in June 2025 and are thrilled about the year ahead. Our classes at this school are aimed at nurturing critical and creative thinking. We will spend time in nature exploring themes from science, mathematics and everything in between.
The Earth School and ‘Outdoor Science’

The Earth School in Bangalore follows the Montessori method. We have been conducting the 'Outdoor Science' classes for their elementary children since 2023.
Our syllabus and learning environment is the great outdoors, with each exploration uncovering the beautiful and intricate workings of the world around us.
Center for Advanced Learning and ‘Nature Perspectives’

Center for Advanced Learning (CFAL) is a Cambridge-affiliated K-12 school in Mangalore. Our association began in 2021 with online sessions about ecology conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
CFAL has a unique program called 'Nature Perspectives' integrated into their academic curriculum, designed to help children explore and understand the relationships between humans and our planet's ecosystems.
Our talks, activity-based learning and field trips at CFAL are inspired by and support their 'Nature Perspectives' curriculum.
Papagoya Micro-school and thematic learning in nature
The Papagoya Micro-School is a dynamic, energetic and community-minded space where children learn in mixed age groups, unlike traditional spaces that have defined grades. They engage their young learners through creative, purposeful and holistic learning experiences while building out a pioneering school which focuses on learning through the joy of play.
Our sessions at Papagoya aim to complement their learning themes and objectives with hands-on, creative and play-based classes that involve enough time spent outdoors in nature.
NCBS Research Collections

Our partnership with the Research Collections at the National Centre for Biological Sciences aims to bring about a deeper, more hands-on experience when learning about the natural world.
Together, we’re merging the wonders of the Natural History Museum with experiential learning to help people of all ages connect with and better understand the biodiversity around us.
